So Many Teachers Obscure the Dharma

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.”

So many are teaching, that they are obscuring the Truth. No one is immune from this criticism; I too have violated the sacred covenant of Silence before the Law, and have not been given permission to Speak, because surely the attainment is incomplete. You will not find Truth here; nothing I’ve uttered here is Truth, nothing anyone else has uttered here is Truth. I only know of one exception, and he has left social media for good.

Consult your own silence, and heed only the Truth therein. You will be considered exceedingly lucky to find an authentic Master capable of espousing the Truth, for there are only a dozen or so alive on the earth today. Sad is this age, because there are so many teachers, and so little Dharma being taught. To those who truly seek, I invite you to join us at the Lucid Sky. We will soon open the doors after an overhaul and revamp of our site, and practice an authentic method of undoing the habituations of mind to reveal the clear light of Awareness.

ANY school or place that does not cultivate awareness is leading its adherents astray into all manner of ancillary trappings, such as siddhis, pranic movements, kundalini yoga, etc. These are fine techniques, but are not the Way, and if they are not propped up by the methods of cultivating awareness of the Way, then they are useless and should be discarded as refuse.

So consider these things before speaking, before joining a school, before becoming lost and cycling because you have not pointed yourself correctly towards attaining the Way. There is only One Way, because it is not divided, but is One, Unique, and Unified, and authentic Masters never harbor disagreements in their teachings. If you can read these words, rest assured that they are for you. This is the best I can offer in the way of encouragement, and I pray that these words, too, do not lead one astray.

Take heart in the fact that you already are your essential nature, you already have the Way, and recognize that there is work to be done only because the Way is covered from your awareness within. Once realization dawns, nothing can deter you from liberating, but until then, you are in great peril. There is nothing to prevent one from staying trapped in illusion forever.
